How to download a Lloyds PDF statement
In Internet Banking (personal)
- Log in and select Statement options from your account page.
- Choose to print or download the statement, or order a paper copy.
In the Lloyds app (personal)
- Log in, select the account and open the three-dot menu.
- Select Download or print statement.
- Choose the month and year, then save, print or email the PDF from your device.
The app gives immediate access to at least 10 years of statements, so you rarely need to order paper copies for older periods.
In Online for Business
Online for Business has had a refreshed design since June 2026, so you may see either layout:
- New layout: select Transactions under the account, then Statement options › Monthly PDFs.
- Original layout: Statement options › Monthly PDFs.
Exporting Lloyds transactions
Business (Online for Business)
- New layout: Statement options › Export transactions (CSV, QIF).
- Original layout: View statement next to the account, then Statement options › Export transactions (CSV, QIF).
Personal: midata
Your midata file is a 12-month transaction history of your personal current account. In online banking, select More Actions next to the current account, expand Account Services, select Midata Export, choose the account and select Start download.
When exports aren't enough
- You need a statement period, not a search. Exports don't carry the statement's opening and closing balances, which is what reconciliation checks against.
- You need more than 12 months. midata covers 12 months; your PDF statements in the app go back at least 10 years.
- You only have the PDFs. Accountants and bookkeepers often get statements from clients as PDFs, without access to their banking.
Converting a Lloyds PDF statement
Pasting a PDF statement into Excel usually merges columns and splits descriptions across rows. AI Bank Statement reads the statement as laid out:
- Upload one or more Lloyds PDF statements. Batch upload handles a year of monthly statements at once.
- Pick the output: Excel, CSV, JSON, Xero CSV, or QuickBooks 3- or 4-column CSV.
- Download one transaction per row, with date, description, money out, money in and balance in separate columns.
Dates stay day-first and amounts stay in pounds.
Getting Lloyds data into Xero or QuickBooks
When a bank feed is missing a period, or you're catching up a client's books from PDFs:
- Xero: choose Xero CSV, then import it as a bank statement for the matching account.
- QuickBooks: choose the 3- or 4-column CSV that matches your import settings, then upload it from file.
Lloyds credit card statements convert the same way with the credit card statement converter.
